What We Do
Since 2006, Saath has been developing itself as Micro-credit expert practitioner organization. The program aimed at poverty alleviation at grass root level through different products of microfinance. It has 7755 Active Clients which are also member of notable groups: PMN Microwatch, Smart campaign and MONPAK. It has nearly 1200 Poverty score cards of its clients entered in MIS database. The MIS provides access to detailed data of PPI survey- filling of 3000 PPI forms in 2010 and 3000 forms in 2012. Core experience of Saath Development Society is in various microfinance and livelihood interventions at community level.
Its micro-credit outreach covers substantial number of male and female beneficiaries. It supported small farmers, shopkeepers, agriculturists and females owning cottage industries in order to create for them diversified income generation activities. The program has also shaped this human resource in the form of community level groups and community organizations. This has enhanced their collective approach towards tapping new opportunities in structured form and equipped them to address their problems with practical solutions. Their concerted efforts have made this program a successful model in their villages.
